The RTO Show "Let's talk Rent to Own"
Hometown Rent To Own and NY state facing devastating new legislation
The industry of RTO has been in existance for over 40 years. It has overcome adversity, misunderstanding, and economic downturns. With a solid history and over 10 billion in revenues annually you would think that there is nothing but great things headed our way. That is until bills A9585 and S9275 were introduced to the New York legislature this past session. With the possibility of shutting down RTO as we know it in the state of New York APRO notified the NYRDA to act fast to get on top of this new legislation, and see just what needed to be done to educate these lawmakers on the effects these two bills have on the RTO industry in this state. NYRDA's new president Jeff Smith and his partner Matt Radecki at Hometown Rent to Own are working hard to keep RTO working properly in the state of NY and so much more.
