John Blair

John Blair is an RTO Legend with a nearly four-decade career in the rent-to-own industry. His story begins at a crossroads — losing his father at 16 and finding direction by joining the United States Marine Corps, an experience that would shape his discipline and leadership style for the rest of his life. After entering the RTO industry, John became a pivotal force in building the TRIB Group (The Rental Industry Buying Group) into a credible, member-led powerhouse that continues to serve independent RTO dealers today. Known throughout the industry for his loyalty, integrity, and genuine care for people, John has also served on the APRO Vendor Advisory Committee and has worked in RTO consulting through JDB Consulting. The relationships he built over his career remain a defining legacy — a testament to an industry he describes as filled with "so much loyalty, so much caring."
