Mike Skehan

Michael Skehan is the Division Manager for BuddyMac Holdings (BMH), dba Buddy's Home Furnishings, and one of the rent-to-own industry's most active emerging leaders. His RTO journey began in an unlikely place — after running his own carpet-cleaning business, he made the move to Rent-A-Center in central Florida in 2007 as a customer service associate. Nearly 20 years later, Mike has built a reputation as a people-first leader whose culture-driven approach has helped shape BMH's operations across multiple states. Beyond his company role, Mike has taken on significant state association leadership, serving as President of both the Arkansas Rental Dealers Association (ARDA) and Secretary/Treasurer of the Missouri Rental Dealers Association (MRDA). His leadership philosophy is simple: "Love your people — it's that simple."
